2023 Trends for restaurant design
Micro trends have made interior (restaurant) design somewhat of a difficult task because of the overwhelming number of options available in the market. However, we have pinpointed some of the top restaurant design trends of 2023 to make your restaurant functional yet stylish.
Nature-inspired design (a.k.a. lots of plants)
With a growing focus on sustainability, many restaurants are turning to nature-inspired design elements, usually known as “greenery”. This could include natural materials like wood and stone, earthy color palettes, vertical gardens for decorating walls, plants and flowers in hanging pots, etc. These designs can be done using artificial, natural or preserved types of plants.
An extension of this trend, as stated above, is sustainability, thus meaning most restaurants have been incorporating eco-friendly design elements like energy-efficient lighting, recycled materials, and sustainable furniture.
